This award provided funding to Partners in Learning to expand its autism and other clinical services for which there was a growing demand in the rural counties it served. This service expansion, associated with construction of a new facility, resulted in the creation of 35 new, full-time professional and para-professional positions at an average wage of $46,171. An additional 13 new, part-time positions were added, with the potential to transition them into full-time positions as growth continues. Training was provided for all new hires resulting in 48 new, third-party certifications earned. Golden LEAF funds were used for equipment and furniture required to expand clinical services at the new facility.
