This award provides funding to Partners in Learning to expand its autism and other clinical services for which there is a growing demand in the rural counties it serves. This service expansion is expected to result in the creation of 35 new full-time professional and para-professional positions at an average wage of $46,171. An additional 13 new part-time positions will be added, with the potential to transition to full-time positions as growth continues. Training will be provided for all new hires resulting in 48 new third-party certifications earned. Golden LEAF funds will be used for equipment and furniture needed to provide the expanded clinical services associated with this project and its new facility.
