Flooding caused by Hurricane Dorian significantly damaged the church and parsonage. Hyde County determined that the buildings were substantially damaged, meaning the repaired buildings would need to be elevated to comply with building code requirements. Golden LEAF disaster recovery grant funds will be used to support repair of the church. Donations and other church funds will be used to complete the project.
