Description:

This grant provides funding to Our Community Hospital (OCH) for renovations to the Bryan Health and Rehabilitation (BRH) Center that support its transition from an institutional setting to a residential one. OCH-BRH is classified as a skilled nursing facility and offers 60 skilled nursing beds and 20 assisted living spaces for the ageing population in the area. The OCH-BRH expects to create eight new, full-time jobs and retain its existing 47 full-time and 11 part-time jobs. Golden LEAF funds will be used for renovation costs.
