Description:

Hurricane Florence damaged the eastern and southern bulkheads, retaining wall, and slips at the Town of Carolina Beach’s municipal marina. The town conducted an engineering assessment to confirm the extent of damage caused by Hurricane Florence. Golden LEAF disaster recovery funds will be used for replacement and mitigation for the eastern and southern sections of the marina consistent with the engineer’s assessment. Funds may not be used for repair and replacement needed prior to Hurricane Florence.
