The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Edgecombe Community College to upgrade training equipment that will be housed in the college’s new Center for Innovation on the Tarboro campus. The Center is being constructed with Connect NC Bond funds. Golden LEAF funds will be used to purchase robotic and process control equipment to enable advanced manufacturing programs to meet current industry standards and skills requirements.
