Description:

This Golden LEAF grant provides funding to the Yadkin County Economic Development Partnership to help the metals division of Lydall Thermal/Acoustical, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty thermal and acoustical products, expand its operations in Yadkin County. The company is adding additional manufacturing and distribution capacity and is becoming a zero waste facility. With this expansion, it will create 30 new full-time position. Funds will be used to purchase a metal waste baler to be leased to Lydall Thermal/Acoustical, Inc. at fair market value.
