Description:

Based on significant increased flows that have occurred regularly following Hurricane Florence, the Town of Liberty believes that flooding from Hurricane Florence damaged the town’s sewer system causing increased inflow and infiltration. The town will use Golden LEAF disaster recovery grant funds will be used to conduct an analysis of the areas of the sewer system that were most likely affected by Hurricane Florence as well as for construction expenses to enable repair of infrastructure damaged by Hurricane Florence. The town will use existing staff and town-owned camera equipment to assist with the study.
