Description:

The purpose of this grant is to assist Rocky Mount Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. (OIC) with expanded capabilities to offer dental services in downtown Rocky Mount. This project will increase OIC’s capacity to meet the need for integrated medical care in its service area. The expansion of dental services is one component of OIC’s larger plan to add a dentist, pediatrician, psychiatrist, licensed clinical social workers, and complementary support personnel. OIC has secured funding and already begun to renovate existing space to accommodate ten exam rooms for primary care, a behavioral health suite with four offices, a radiology service center, and a dental suite with eight operatories. Golden LEAF will be used to purchase dental equipment.
