This grant will be used by Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) to design and implement up to four “career pathway” programs to help to meet local industry demand. The programs include: Composites, Automotive/Aviation, Mechatronics/Robotics, and Logistics. These career pathways will be used as models to create other pathway programs. Training will initially be housed in CVCC’s Engineering Technologies Building and then transferred to the new Workforce Solutions Center that will be completed in the fall of 2017.
