Stormwater as a result of Hurricane Florence caused erosion and led to the destabilization of the walls of a ravine on Methodist University campus. The erosion exposed the footings of a bridge that is the access point from the main side of campus to several academic and athletic facilities. Golden LEAF Hurricane Florence Disaster Recovery grant funds will be used to reimburse the university for the completed emergency repairs to the ravine and bridge. FEMA Public Assistance and insurance are not available for this project.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
