Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Ashe Memorial Hospital for renovation and expansion of its Emergency Department (ED). The ED accounts for 90% of the hospital’s admissions with over 11,000 patients a year seeking care at the facility. The project will reduce long wait times, improve service delivery and help ensure the financial viability of the hospital.
