This grant provided funding to assist Hyde County Schools with implementing a digital learning initiative in grades 6-12 to provide Google Chromebooks to students and faculty member in the County. The initiative also included professional development for faculty members, integration of classroom technology, and student participation in college courses through a partnership with Beaufort County Community College. Golden LEAF funds were used for devices, software and instructional materials, and professional development.
