This award provides funding to Halifax County to construct an approximately 40,000 square foot shell building, expandable to 76,000 sf, located at the Halifax Corporate Park. The county anticipates that completion of the building would result in $3,469,839.00 in public infrastructure investment, $10,000,000.00 in private capital investment, and the creation of 100 new jobs with an average annual wage of $47,000.00. Golden LEAF funds will be used for design, planning, and construction of the shell building and contingency.
