Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the Greene County public school system to enhance its middle and high school STEM career pathways programs. The enhancements will strengthen existing pathways in health science and information technology workforce training programs. Greene County Schools will also partner with Lenoir Community College to establish a Computer Integrated Machining (CIM) program in Greene County. Golden LEAF funds will be used for machining, mechatronics, health sciences, and computer programming equipment, and software and curriculum costs.
