Description:

Flooding as a result of Hurricane Florence resulted in excessive debris throughout much of the town’s canal system. To better promote drainage and reduce likelihood of flooding, the town will remove storm-related debris including downed trees from the canals. Golden LEAF Hurricane Florence Disaster Recovery Grant Program funds will be used for debris removal from segments of the canal system located at Main Street to Lake Tabor and NC 410 to Lake Tabor.
