Description:

During Hurricane Florence, Southport suffered multiple municipal water main ruptures and the entire city lost municipal water. The loss of municipal water services severely impacts hospital operations. Golden LEAF disaster recovery grant funds will be used to enable installation of a backup water well on the hospital’s campus.
