Stormwater from Hurricane Matthew strained storm drainage infrastructure in Nashville along Elm Street and under adjacent public parking areas. Damage to pipes, including separated joints, resulted in multiple leaks and sinkholes. Fifty households, more than 1,000 government employees, citizens accessing county services, businesses, and special events will benefit from the repaired infrastructure. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will be used to repair and replace the storm drainage infrastructure.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
