This grant provides funding to Davidson County for the development of a new county-owned industrial park near Interstate 85. Phase 1 of the project involves 431 acres and at full build-out the park will be more than 1,100 acres. The county expects that companies will create 9,000 new full-time jobs at the park once fully developed. The park is currently being considered by three economic development projects that would create, in total, 1,500 jobs and $575 million in private investment. Golden LEAF funds will be used for public wastewater infrastructure costs.
