Columbus Baptist Association, Inc.
Program Area:
Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief Grant Program
County of Applicant:

The Columbus Baptist Association has operated distribution sites during disasters including Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Florence, and assisted by providing building materials, appliance replacement, and supporting other disaster-relief efforts. Funding awarded from the NC Hurricane Florence Relief Fund will be used to purchase construction materials including sheetrock and subflooring, and for replacement personal property, including appliances. The Association has secured a location to house materials in Columbus County so they will be accessible to the Baptists on Mission and United Methodist Disaster Recovery teams operating in the area. The Association also works with the Columbus County Long-Term Recovery Group to identify unmet needs.
