Description:

This Golden LEAF grant provides funding to the City of Claremont to improve wastewater infrastructure to serve Prysmian Group, a worldwide manufacturer of cables used in the energy and telecommunications industries. The Prysmian Group will expand its facility in Claremont to increase production, creating 50 new jobs that will pay an average annual wage of $43,800, plus benefits, compared to the county average of $42,536. The company will also make a capital investment of approximately $53 million.
