Description:

The award provides support for the construction of public water and sewer infrastructure necessary to serve VinFast. VinFast is a manufacturer of electric vehicles and batteries for electric vehicles. The company plans to make a capital investment of $4 billion at the Triangle Innovation Point megasite in Chatham County. The project is expected to create 7,500 new jobs paying an average annual wage of approximately $51,000, compared to the Chatham County average wage of $37,603.
