As a result of Hurricane Florence, several inches of water entered Essence of the Cross Ministries, damaging the electrical system and flooring. Wind and tree debris damaged the roof and gutters leading to additional interior water damage. Golden LEAF Hurricane Florence Disaster Recovery grant funds will be used to remediate mold, repair the roof, and replace damaged ceiling tiles and carpet.
