This award provides funding to City of Rocky Mount to extend water and sewer infrastructure, along Peele Road and Thomas Betts Parkway respectively, to serve both sections of the 55-acre Peele Road site that is divided by Thomas Betts Parkway. The city anticipates that the project could result in $30 million in private capital investment and creation of 100 new jobs.
