This award provides funding to City of Albemarle for clearing and grading of the approximately 15-acre Site A in the 282-acre Albemarle Business Center industrial park. The city anticipates that successful industry recruitment to the site would create approximately 100 jobs with average annual wages of $45,000, and $5 million in capital investments.
