This Golden LEAF grant will provide funding to Caswell County Schools to implement a 1:1 digital learning initiative at the County’s middle school. The school has already invested funds in wireless infrastructure and bandwidth upgrades to prepare for the program, has established a planning team, and is working with the Friday Institute and others to ensure the project follows best practices. This grant is expected to leverage up to an additional $1.5 million from the Danville Regional Foundation to expand the program to the other schools in the district. Golden LEAF will be used for professional development, software and devices.
