This grant provided funding to Elizabeth City Middle School (ECMS) for devices and associated hardware/software to create a digital learning technology program to close the digital divide for economically disadvantaged/rural students. ECMS provided a platform for students to have personalized learning experiences resulting in greater attendance and engagement by students and better educational outcomes. ECMS also provided the teaching staff with extensive professional development.
