This grant provided funding to Carteret County Public Schools (CCPS) to extend STEM middle to high school pathways aligned with area employers’ needs and community college workforce training programs. The project implemented Project Lead the Way (PLTW) STEM centers in middle and high schools to support engineering and biomedical career pathway options for all CCPS students. Golden LEAF support was used for specialized equipment for the PLTW program, professional development for teachers, and external partner and employer training.
