The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to assist with the development of a cardiovascular research and education center that will provide outpatient care, scientific research and clinical trials to improve the cardiovascular health of eastern North Carolinians through treatment, prevention, and new scientific discoveries. This project expects to create 375 new, full-time jobs.
