This Golden LEAF grant will provide funding to Central Park NC to leverage $1.175 million in committed federal EDA funding for final Phase 3 renovations of its STARworks Center for Creative Enterprise. This project will lead to the establishment of new small businesses and job creation as well as delivery of youth entrepreneurial programs. It is expected to generate another $1.5 million in investment and as many as 50 jobs over the next three years. Golden LEAF funds will be used for construction and design costs.
