The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Mitchell County Schools for a project that will create an “innovative discovery lab” at each middle and high school in Mitchell County. The project will increase the percentage of students that are capable, proficient and knowledgeable of STEM careers and help ready students to prepare for college and employment opportunities in STEM careers.
