The existing emergency medical services building in Seven Springs was flooded during Hurricane Matthew. This Golden LEAF grant will enable Wayne County to relocate the EMS station to a new location outside of the floodplain. The County will also select a site that will allow it to shorten the response times for calls and to maximize service, thereby increasing citizen safety and improving the delivery of medical services.
