Year in Review 2023 – Community-Based Grants Initiative in the Piedmont-Triad Prosperity Zone

In 2023, the Golden LEAF Foundation launched its Community-Based Grants Initiative in the Piedmont-Triad Prosperity Zone. The $11 million initiative supports the building blocks of economic growth in communities, generally targeting one Prosperity Zone at a time.

The CBGI focuses on projects that address job creation and economic, agriculture, and workforce preparedness. Applications for the CBGI in the Piedmont-Triad Prosperity Zone were submitted in October and expected to be considered in February 2024.
