Erica L. Smith, CPA

Erica Smith has served as controller of the Golden LEAF Foundation since 2022. She has been a CPA for 15 years. Prior to joining the Golden LEAF Foundation, Erica was Senior Vice President – Financial Reporting Manager for First Bancorp in Southern Pines, NC. She began her career with KPMG in Raleigh.

Erica is a North Carolina native and graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor of science in business administration and a master of accounting. She is a member of the NCACPA and the AICPA.
