Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will provide funding to Wilson County Schools to assist with the implementation of a 1:1 technology initiative using Chromebooks at Fike and Beddingfield high schools. The school system will provide professional development for teachers through the Friday Institute using NC Department of Public Instruction funding and wil provide instructional technology facilitators at each of the schools to aid implementation of the program. Golden LEAF funds will be used to help purchase Chromebooks for the students.
