Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will support installation of water and sewer to an industrial park being constructed on the east side of the Wilkes County Airport. The extension will result in the creation of ten new jobs at MX Aircraft, and is expected to lead to the expansion of existing businesses and location of new businesses at the airport. The new jobs will require workers with skills in aviation and advanced manufacturing.
