Description:

Hurricane Matthew damaged the roof of the Town of Pollocksville’s water treatment plant contributing to damage of the electrical control panel inside the building. As a result, the Town must manually switch on and off the water pumps to fill the elevated storage tanks. Replacing the switches is critical to ensuring adequate water supply is available to the Town. This Golden LEAF grant will support replacement of the electrical control panel.
