Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the Global Opportunities Center to implement the Triad Regional Export Initiative (TREI) which will help meet the specific needs and challenges of rural companies looking to grow sales revenue through export. Student interns will assess the capacity of participating companies to pursue export opportunities, assist companies with data gathering and market analysis, design company-specific export strategies, and link company representatives to the network of resources available through the TREI. Golden LEAF Funds will be used for marketing and communications, business recruitment and resource development, stipends for student interns, project management and evaluation, and training/development.
