The Benefit Bank is a web-based, counselor-assisted program that helps low- and moderate-income people apply for available federal work supports (tax credits, public benefits, student financial aid). This Golden LEAF grant will help Connectinc train Benefit Bank counselors and recruit organizations to house Benefit Bank sites. Over two years, Connectinc proposes to help over 30,000 North Carolinians claim more than $34 million dollars that are currently unclaimed.
