Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will provide funds to purchase laptops for high school students in Wilkes County as part of Golden LEAF’s 1:1 laptop demonstration pilot and the Wilkes County School System’s “Technology in Education Challenge.” The project aims to improve teacher retention, decrease the dropout rate, and produce a future-ready workforce equipped with 21st Century skills needed to compete in the global economy.
