This grant supported the renovation of a steel manufacturing building located on the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship’s property. The Nussbaum Center leased space in the building to several tenants, including O’Neal Manufacturing Services (O’Neal), which was relocating a manufacturing division from Birmingham, Alabama to Greensboro. O’Neal ultimately expanded its operations in Greensboro, creating 51 new jobs and transferring seven additional employees to the North Carolina location from Alabama. The jobs paid an average annual wage of $41,379.
