Hurricane Florence damaged the roof of Sandy Run Missionary Baptist Church allowing water to enter the building, resulting in significant damage to the floors and walls. The church determined that replacing the building was more cost effective than repairing. Golden LEAF disaster recovery grant funds will be used to support replacement of the destroyed structure. Insurance proceeds and other church funds will be used to complete the project.
