Description:

Tyrrell County CDC has an established record of training young people to work on eco-tourism and conservation projects. This grant will provide funding to prepare approximately 15 young people to work for the parks, refuges, and other conservation agencies in the region. In addition to the career opportunities that will result from the project, the sites that are used for on- the-job training are improved and made suitable for recreational and tourist activities.
