Description:

The purpose of this grant is to support Project Lead the Way, a curriculum program designed to help 6th, 7th and 8th grade students explore math, science, engineering and technology and increase student competitiveness in a global economy. This project will allow the expansion of the program, currently offered at one middle school, to three other middle schools and to four K-8 schools in Caldwell County. Project Lead the Way will result in increased performance in math, science and reading and increased interest in technology and related careers.
