Description:

This grant provides funding to the City of Hickory to enable a subsidiary of Isotopen Technologien München AG (ITM) to locate in the Trivium Corporate Center business park. ITM will produce a new generation of targeted therapeutic radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals for the treatment of cancer patients. ITM anticipates that it will create 137 jobs over the next five years, with an average wage of over $64,000 compared to the Catawba County average of $41,531. Golden LEAF funds will be used to construct an access road to the rear of the park that will serve the site for ITM and provide access to additional sites in the same area of the park.
