Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to assist the NC Biotechnology Center with the development of a long-term strategic plan to guide North Carolina’s investments in biotechnology. The strategic planning process undertaken by the Biotech Center for the state will provide vision and a framework to ensure the state remains a leading international site for biotechnology and make certain that the economic and social benefits from the industry extend to rural North Carolinians and to women and people of color.
