The purpose of this grant is to provide funds to the Benson Area Medical Center (BAMC), a community-owned nonprofit Rural Health Center, to support renovation to create three additional exam rooms, relocate some administrative offices and make changes in the patient check-in/check-out areas that will allow the hospital to serve a growing number of patients and to do so more efficiently. Golden LEAF funds will help pay for equipment and renovations. The project will create four full-time jobs.
