Description:

This grant will support opening a community health center (CHC) in Jacksonville, NC that will serve about 800 people during the first year. Onslow County has been identified as one of the highest need counties in North Carolina without a CHC. Golden LEAF funds will leverage $150,000 from Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust. The CHC will create seven new jobs in Onslow County.
