Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to help equip a lab at Johnston Community College that will provide simulated clinical experiences for nursing students. The availability of additional clinical experiences will allow the college to enhance the ability of students to apply knowledge and skills learned, to increase the retention rate in the nursing program, and to graduate an additional 15 nursing students each year.
