Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to support the purchase of equipment required for the renovation and expansion of UHS Children’s Hospital in Pitt County. The Hospital is the only comprehensive children’s center in the twenty-nine counties of eastern North Carolina. The new equipment will allow the Hospital to provide a new Kids Immuno-Suppressed Special Unit and to outfit a Pediatric Radiology Suite. The project will result in the creation of 50 jobs.
