Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide continued support for The Golden LEAF Scholars Program at North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities. The grant will provide 288 $3,000 scholarships to students at the 36 member institutions of the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities. Each institution will be awarded eight scholarships. Eligible students will be from rural counties that are tobacco dependent or economically distressed.
